What is a BioPic? How much does a BioPic cost?
BioPics are short, personalized documentaries meant to preserve and share the stories of people, pets, and partnerships. 3 - 5 minute BioPics are $600 and work well for sharing the story of one person. A longer, 8 -10 minute BioPic is $1000. 10 -12 minute BioPics are $1200 and work well for sharing the stories of multiple people.
What is a Legacy Video? What is a Memorial Video?
Legacy videos tell histories of people and families so that future generations can better understand their origins. Memorial videos honor the life story of someone who has passed.
Can BioPic Studios make a traditional memorial video for a funeral?
Yes. We're happy to combine your photos and videos into traditional memorial videos or slideshows of any length. BioPic editors create these videos, typically shown during funeral and memorial services, with the professionalism and care they bring to every project ensuring premiere quality.
When will I receive my BioPic? How long does it take to make?
BioPics are created by a dedicated team in the order in which they are commissioned. When you place an order, a team member will reach out via email and stay in touch throughout the process. We aim to deliver each BioPic within a week. Holidays and gift seasons are busy so plan ahead and order early.
Can I send video to be included in my BioPic?
Absolutely. You can send us your video using the link we provide after your questionnaire is submitted. We highly recommend you trim the video to the sections you want included in your BioPic. 10 - 60 second clips are ideal. This is a nice article providing several ways to trim video. Quicktime player also trims videos. If you have any issues or questions, feel free to contact us.
What if there is a mispronunciation, mistake or something I don't like?
Let us know and we'll fix it. For unique names, feel free to include the phonetic spelling in the questionnaire. For photos, include the names of the people pictured in the photo's file name. We can only offer one free revision. Be sure to find any errors the first time around.
